the diverse people and perspectives driving its future.
Join us on an adventure like none other....
On Monday evening, September 12th, we will be celebrating CTIC's 40th Anniversary. We will be celebrating in the heart of St. Louis—Forest Park in the elegant Trolley Room. At the celebration, we’ll enjoy drinks, food and the chance to reminisce about the past 40 years and look forward to the next 40!
We’ll start the day Tuesday with a tour of the Henry White Farm, a demonstration farm owned by the Illinois Department of Agriculture. The farm serves as an outdoor laboratory for research into sustainable agriculture. In addition to research plots, the farm's 94 acres contain wetlands, evergreen and deciduous groves, restored prairie and wildlife habitat. At the Henry White Farm, we’ll also hear an array of speakers sharing their insights on conservation practices.
After lunch, we will head to the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, home to nearly 300 scientists and a launch pad for innovative start-ups. We will tour their facilities, network with ag tech entrepreneurs at an Ag Tech Showcase hosted by CTIC and the Danforth Center, and engage in talks and panel discussions. It will be a special, one-time event that you do not want to miss!
Finish the evening with dinner and drinks surrounded by friends within the agriculture industry. We'll hear from special, soon to be announced speakers for insight into the world of conservation agriculture today…and tomorrow.
